Volunteer

From the very beginning, Design Outreach has been built upon the firm and steady foundation of passionate volunteers who have sacrificed their time and talent to help us alleviate global poverty. At its inception, Design Outreach consisted of approximately 70 professional volunteers who gave up lunch breaks and weekends to develop our flagship product, LifePump™, which has been transforming communities for over a decade. Volunteers continue to be the lifeblood of this ministry.

Because of the overwhelming interest of professionals from varying fields across the globe, all Design Outreach volunteer positions are currently filled. Please check back periodically for new opportunities as our needs are constantly evolving.

Fellows Program

Design Outreach is growing rapidly and poised to tackle more major problems facing people in developing countries. The R&D Fellows Program is a group of world-class experienced professionals in areas such as product development, project management, quality, manufacturing, mechanical design, and testing who partner with Design Outreach to develop technologies that alleviate global poverty. Going beyond the traditional volunteer role, the Fellows Program is especially tailored for individuals who have recently retired and desire to continue to utilize their specialized technical and leadership talents to serve God and make a difference in lives around the world. R&D Fellows serve as technical or project leads in the organization on assigned projects and as professional and discipleship mentors to the staff.
